I actually wanted to make a very detailed background, but a combination of lazyness and the fact that I actually liked it with the blurred, unfinished background made me keep it like that.

I like the fact that there isn't much of a background, and that it's indistinct--it makes the girl stand out so much more and really adds something to the picture.
